horrible...

i took a avalanche for a test drive today and i loved every inch of it....
EXCEPT... the CENTERLINE... of the steering wheel... didn't even match up...with the CENTERLINE of the seat.... it was moved to the right by about 3-4 inches...that would suck if the camaro did this as well

Actually, all of the full size Chevy and GMC trucks and suvs have been that way since around 2000.

Hmm...never noticed it in my 2002 GMC Sierra. However, I have noticed that the steering wheel's axis is not at its center point; if you watch it as it turns, it looks like it's bobbing up and down. Why would they do that?

i have noticed that on a lot of cars,, i think it is so you get a little more leg room when the wheel it straight

Cadillac... and Avalanche... both are vehicles with huge amounts of interior room. Personally, it wouldn't bother me in these cars, it's not like I'd be sitting up straight in the extra large seats anyway...

Huh, I've never noticed that in my Av. I'll have to check it out when I get home.
