Just installed one along with a center force DYAD twin disc so far it seems to be better than stock, but it's still early.

Instead of trying to recreate the wheel we addressed the problematic release bearing issue by replacing/upgrading the faulty plastic bearing support with our billet steel support. By doing this you remove the "weak link" in the slave and eliminate the issue all together. The slave and bearing itself isn't the failure point on these cars.
Here is what the factory plastic piece that I'm referencing - Here is our billet upgrade - |

No different
So installed the McLeod slave cylinder and it works great. Has the same feel as the stock one and seems to work perfectly. But can anyone tell me why under full throttle long pulls in second or third gear my pedal still pulls away from my foot?

We can help you out with one of our new LT1-S twin discs, it's fantastic to drive on the street. That said, you can research the LT1-S on this forum and see that many others love it. Give me a shout and we'll go from there, even if you don't buy our unit I'll help answer any questions you may have. |

I wish I could have caught you earlier. There is no need for anything than stock gm components with the Street Slayer, it is built specifically for your 5th gen and another reason it's such a great value.
