Don't know about that... it was pretty rough out there... between the humidity and the track prep... no one was really having any good runs...

Cams for the L99 are pricey!!

TSP has a nice package - PRC ported heads, VVT3 Cam and DOD Delete kit (LS3 conversion) for 3K then I would have to worry about install/tune... probably another 2K...
Thats 5K total...

Ive seen complete diffs with gears installed for sale on here for about 750-1000 and that Im pretty sure I can do myself....

2 wheels and some DRs should run about 1K

so it comes down to Heads/Cam for 5K or Gears/Tires for 2K

I think Im leaning towards the gears and tires, get my traction under control, maybe some suspension goodies (ties/toes/trailing arms/sways/etc) and then do the CAM down the road...

George!!! Where you been buddy??

Realistically I would like 450-500 rwhp... I would like to stay N/A

Im at about 380-390rwhp so I'm not that far off.. The Cam and ported heads will bring me up to where I want to be if not past it...

I would like to get down to the 11's and I think with the cam/heads/gears/tires this is pretty feasible

All I need now is to go out back and pick some money off the money tree lol....

i jus grabbed a bunch of everything, since it was my powder...and for all the lousy stop and go ride you will get for 75rwhp cam package, its really a no brainer.,,,spend 5k for 75rwhp and bad milege and crappy ride, or buy a used sc for 4k and keep the same milege you have now , also the ride is EXACTLY same as you have now and you get 175 rwhp...with easy upgrades if you want to change the supercharger setup....can,t speak for george as he had a little diff setup. but me and gary{ gary,s cutoms} bght same kb and had 0 mods, not even headers, he actuall bght george,s headers 6 months ago......we gained 170rwhp and we both dyno,d between 560 and 570 rwhp...why limit yourself with a cam package for 5k..>????? supercharger has 0 effect on daily driving, only when you push the pedal hard does it make boost and add more air..imo

In Dallas right now... Yeah, yeah... 450-500 rwhp... I remember thinking that way too. Then it starts... More, more!!! Ask Mike, he'll tell you. I would seriously give it a lot of thought, before doing several smaller builds which costs a lot of cash, grief and time not to mention a lot of unusable spare parts. You're better off pulling the trigger once and not peace meal it!!

guess everybodys actually 'working' today... lol

Mike/George - I appreciate the advice - kinda wanted to stay N/A but you both bring up good points... May just look into a nice used SC... who knows... regardless of which direction I go in I gotta water the money tree first!!
