Question Good Price for 2010 2SS?

What would be a good price for a 2010 2SS with an MSRP of $38,500 and almost 600 miles on it being sold as new?

i saw a new 2010 2 ss auto w/ roof, sell for 40k cdn.
it was in a showroom w/o miles.

same dealer sold a 2010 2ss with gfx, maggie, rims, and exhaust for 55k. cdn.

both no miles.

I offered $33,000 and was countered with $34,000. I walked because I felt $34,000 was a little high for a 2 year old demo. Did I pass up a really good deal?

No I have seen some 2010 SS's below 30K with about 2k miles on them. I think $33k is a very fair deal.

No you didn't .
I paid MSRP of $38,000 for my loaded 2010 SS/RS L99 that I've been driving and enjoying for almost 2 years now.
If you buy the above 2010 Camaro now and we both sell them in 2014, they are both going to be worth about the same amount. Who got the better deal ?...... ME.
If I were you I would buy a new 2012 when they come out. Few people consider depreciation when buying a NEW one year old vehicle.
IMO of course.

you can get a 2010 SS for 32 or 33k.there are some very good deals out there.you will get a better deal if you stay away from dealers on a used car.

True. I think $34k is a pretty decent deal. I dealed on a 2010 2SS, $38,500 sticker, 49 miles. They gave me Preferred Pricing and $4k discount ($3,000 dealer cash + $1,000 target manifest) in March. My price before TTL was around $33,300 for a brand new 2SS/RS A6 with sunroof and polished aluminum wheels...So to answer the OP, $34k is a decent deal, but you can get them to knock off a little more....

I recently totaled my 2010 2SS/RS LS3 I did not have the upgraded factory 21" wheels and sunroof, the ACV (Actual Cash Value) that I received was $33K with having 9400 miles on it.

Based upon a real world comparison I think 34K or 33K is a pretty good deal since you mentioned 600 miles. However given that it is an year older model and they are paying inventory on it, I think they could do a little better than 33~34K if they are serious.

If you really want a GOOD deal go for a new car and use one of the dealers on this site.

Cheers
K

so what's the deal with buying up 2010's? Especially when you can get a 2011 for less most of the time, brand new. I spoke to a dealer the other day about it, and he said they don't even bother buying 2010's because of the price. Is it a collector's thing?

the local dealer here is listing 2011 2ss's anywhere from 38,000 to 35,000, and most of the time offering 1-2k off that price. I've been researching 1ss's so I'm no expert
