Speaker replacement in 2012 Camaro Convertible

I've been working on replacing the speakers in my 2012 camaro convertible.

new center channel

New rear panels with ABL

Better details here: http://skexies.wordpress.com/2013/07...o-convertible/

Still a little bit of a WIP.

Here is the subwoofer installation, which is a little different than your standard sub installs....

This looks very clean. You did a nice job. I actually used Acustastuff in my subwoofer install. I basically filled the whole metal area with it. I need to get a few more bags as there is still some area to fill, but it seamed to work much better than just replacing the woofer without anything else.

Thanks, I went for this to provide a (mostly) air-tight (sealed) chamber vs. free-air, since the whole chamber sits inside the interior with the top up.

you used a insualtion product instead of building a box ? How well does it work ? What is the name of the product you used ? I am currently trying to decide how to resolve the same issue on my 2012 vert, and this would really be nice if it works !
