Camaro ZL1 Automatic Transmission

I have a 2010 Camaro SS L99 automatic with the TAP shift. The shifting is delayed from the time I press the button until it shifts. I'm just wondering if the 2012 ZL1 automatic will have faster reacting paddles with faster shifts because I am planning on purchasing one. I'm hoping for shift response like the mercedes AMG models!

Thanks,
Mickey

Automatic Transmission paddles

The automatic ZL1 will have paddles. Like the paddles found on high end sports cars.

That pic is also a proto type...
You can't always go by proto types or concepts.
Do you have any written information?

anyone have idea idea how fast the zl1s (AUTO version obviously) transmission shifts in comparison to dual clutch transmissions? I know the dual clothes are faster, but I was wondering roughly how much faster they are in comparison.

But just because you drove it, does not mean it had paddle shifters.
