Keep in mind that most local dealers deal with tint shops with one criteria - the cheapest price. The cheaper the dealer can get it, the more they can make when they mark it up. If you are looking for a quality job with a quality film, I'd probably look elsewhere.

Also what tint film is the best? I am going to keep this car forever (they will have to rip it from my cold dead butt) so I want to do it right. I don't want the tint to turn purple or bubble. I plan to keep it in a garage when parked at home, so that should help with sun damage.
Two letters - 3M. Just like in about anything to do with adhesive technology, 3M is the best - certainly won't be the cheapest though. Huper Optik also makes a very nice film. Madico, Solar Guard, Llumar, Johnson, SunTek, and other professional grade films are OK, but their adhesive and color fastness are just not as good. Purple film and bubbles will eventually occur with most of their black/grey products- maybe not so much with their premium metalized and ceramic...YMMV.

If you keep your cars a few years, probably not a big concern, but for those that keep them many years and don't wanna be replacing film down the road, go with 3M.

$173.00 with 20% on sides and 5% (LIMO) on back window. Not sure the type of tint it is though?

Ouch that stinks.....I think they will notice because you want to go 25-30% darker and going from 15% to 5% is a big diff......... Do you have a moon roof or anything in your car? i find even with 20% on these cars is pretty dark there isnt enough light that can get in
I agree...have 20% and can't see at nite unless there is alot of out door light. Definitely would do 35% on sides.

I was thinking 35% all around (except the windshield).
