Thank you all for the recommendations ! I really do appreciate them. Now all of you are talking about an exhaust. Please excuse my ignorance me being a newbie camaro but what exhaust do you actually recommend? and it would be nice for them to sound mean but not like a Mustang flow-masters....

Exhaust. I have the factory gmpp exhaust and I love it. So it's not getting changed. I would suggest hit YouTube up and listen to the v6 performance exhaust on there

Do yourself a favour and get out to actually hear different exhaust systems on the same car with your own ears. It's not the most expensive mod you can do but being disappointed with what you get after the install is never a good thing. Everyone has their preferance and you will too. Don't take anyone's word for it, figure out what sound YOU like.

try and hear them in person. also go to the V6 area and listen to all the videos over and over with good headphones. all the info and then some you could want is there

If you want to add some performance right away and relatively cheap without having to chase down a half a dozen people with different exhausts, go the CAI route. There was also a spreadsheet done recently with cold, hard performance data which takes a lot of the subjective part of deciding out of the equation, something you can't do nearly as easily with exhausts.

Or if you don't mind spending twice as much (NOT including labor) and voiding your warranty immediately, you could go get the 3.73 gears. Costly, but probably worth making a few 2011 Mustang V6 drivers wonder if they got lemons seeing a V6 Camaro keep pace with them.

I'd definitely go with performance mods; CAI, exhaust, tune, gears. Then you might be able to change your screen name, and can end your fear of Mustangs.j/k.
