I had the same concerns when I test drove mine. You'll get used to it, took me about a week and now feels no different than any other car I have owned.

It's a great car, you'll get used to it very quickly.

you def have to learn to be more proactive when driving it. Yes the blind spots are rather big but you learn to accelerate then change lanes since you can see what is ahead of you then switch. the only major difference is hopefully your not used to driving 3 more people around all the time. because needless to say the backseat is rather pointless.

Just pretend your in the Navy trying to move a Battle Cruiser around and things will become clear that this is the car for you. Seen the commercial about Bob and Viagra with him "smiling" All the time in reality he just bought a new Camaro SS not some little pill. I now find myself reaching for the shifter and pushing the clutch in while driving my 65 auto Impala after 22 years. The Camaro will grow on you and everything else was just a Bad Dream...Lmao

visibility is all in the design.

Does the visibility suck in the new Pagani Huaryra? You bet, does it look cool as shit? YOU BET. . . SAME goes for the Camaro.

Cool looking cars have shitty visibility.

It does take a little acclamation learning where the corners are, but I went from a Tahoe with no problems. My wife did not drive mine for about a week and a half after I got it because I think she was afraid to. If you decide this is the right car for you, you will quickly become accustom to it's unique styling.

Not all of us are offended by this. It was actually slightly amusing.

My biggest adjustment was getting used to driving a car again.I have had trucks the past 15 years.Once you get used to it it is fun as hell.

Yeah but the magazines said it was an important issue

I just can't figure out why Camaro ownership is not what the magaine's said it would be. After all, they did have the car a whole weekend while they were testing it They should know more than a person who has owned it for a year. no?

Anyone who doesn't buy this car just because of perceived outward visibility on a 5 minute test drive (or what the mags say) is an idiot.

I will call crap on this post. How can a Camaro feel wide? It sounds like the guy is a troll that read a report on the Camaro's blind spots or whatever negative thing he read. He could barely see out of the windshield? What is he, a real f'in troll? There is not a single reason you would have ANY problem seeing out of the windshield. I suspect you will see another post from him soon that he decided to buy a Mustang or a Challenger because of his fantasy test drive.

I would NEVER test drive a Mustang for a couple of miles and then accurately complain about the car on a Mustang forum. I got in my 2SS/RS/M6 and drove it out of the dealer showroom with no problem other than my eyes watering from the emotion of owning a new Camaro SS.

The guy has 5 posts, drives a Toyota Corolla and some of you are actually agreeing with his supposed test drive and complaints about the Camaro. As SSLARRY said above, the guy is an idiot The closest thing he has gotten to a test drive is picking a Camaro SS on a video game.
