so i was under my car tightening up my exhaust tonight and i notice this sensor has had its wires sheared off. my guess is some trans temp or fluid level sensor? any ideas?

This is the first car I have ever seen with a fluid temp sensor on a manual tranny. I say leave it. But it's probably only a couple bucks to fix.
