Payment info: $40 for 2 pulls ...100% goes to St. Jude Children's Hospital Pay online here: www.mycruisinforstjude.org/dynoday ***Hey folks a couple of you have said you are having payment issues....if you do not get a confirmation from St Jude your payment did not go through...if your bank or credit card shows the payment as "pending" we may have to do something else payment wise which is not a problem I can do that. I have no idea why this is happening as other payments are posting no problem. If this happens cancel your payment and contact me. Please download this Dyno Waiver to bring with you Dyno Waiver.doc Raffle items from: * Powertech Performance * Tampa Tuning ...tuning package * Corsa 50% off Gift Certificate * Borla 50% off gift certificate * Vette Brakes and Products gift certificates * Rock Auto gift certificates * International Beer Garten gift certificate * The Brass Tap gift cards * Chili's gift certificates... * William Dean Chocolates gift certificate...guys you need to win this one so your girl forgives you for spending all day at the dyno! *****more to come!! Please send me an email with your forum name when you make payment....let me know that you are a Camaro5 member as this event is posted on Corvetteforum as well corvettes4stjude@gmail.com I will start a list of participants. I will do my best to accomodate "approximate" run times but as we all know sh*t happens with these kind of events so please plan to be flexible. I encourage everyone to bring a chair and hang out... more to come soon so check back often as I add information and we shape up a run order... Thanks! Robert

Honestly we make nothing off it and 100% of the profit goes to St. Judes. Sure its a fun day for a great cause, and we on the corvette forum have been doing this type of support for for the kids for years. Robert (corvettes 4 St Judes) sets up several events a year with his girlfriend Kimberly for fund raisers For those that havent been to the shop, We use a huge in ground 248 DynoJet unit. 1200whp/200mph 2WD Dynojet 248 Chassis Dynomometer w/ 48" Rollers. Did I say huge 48 inch roller that are 26 inches wide! You better bring some ponies. Dynoware stack - (Atmospheric [absolute pressure, air temp, humidity, etc.], air fuel module). Ignition wire inductive tachometer pickup leads. Remote sample and brake control from driver's seat. ( I love it for when im the only one tuning. I can start and stop the dyno from inside the car) Air fuel wide band sensor for exhaust sampling. Nice thick Dyno straps with a rubber stop wedge WinPEP7 software The dyno bay used to be the spray booth for paint repair. Now its a huge, clean dyno room. Two huge 4 foot exhaust fans on the 20 foot ceiling, and a sweet cyclone cooling fan for your car. (Bring ear muffs) a HUGE 10 foot x 4 foot projection TV showing the dyno run in real time on the wall for everyone to view all the runs. two 32 inch wide screens monitors for the tuner I already received a couple PM about tuning cars that day while on the dyno. Im sure Ill be scanning runs to tell you what your car is really doing and running around doing other stuff ( watching the models), but im not going to lie to you. Big dyno days when your making two runs for $40 bucks a cars for a cause, and the rush to get cars on and off the dyno, arent the days you want to make changes to your car. For those that know me, know I methodically go through your calibration. Im anal and take my time to make it right. Ill show you what my scanner is telling about your tune ( which to me is more important than what the dyno is telling me about your run), But if your WOT is 5% off the commanded AFR. I can fix that in 10 minutes including upload time, but what else could be off on your car that you thought was right. your low end spark and fueling, Then now that I added or subtracted fuel, crap what's your spark knock doing popping up or did I knock it down. Then you spend 45 minutes on the dyno by the time your sprapped on and off, and piss off everyone behind you lol. Tuning on a dyno day may be a good money maker for a shop, but we are trying to raise money for a St. Judes. Ill be more than willing to show you what my scanner is telling me, and tell you if you in a good or bad range, or if you should have your favorate calibrator review your tune more indepth when time is on your side and no need to rush. Its going to start at about 7am. This way you can hang out all day, or do your donation and pulls at your reserved time.
Through out the day there will be a ton of stuff raffled off. I think there will be a general raffle bucket, and buckets in front of a specific item you may want to win. So you can arrived at any time, but we what to reduce the wait time with nothing to do even though there will be plenty to do. That's why we dont do any tuning or calibration changes on dyno day, because it backs up the day. It takes about 3 hours to properly calibrate a car correctly and if I did that, it would reduce the amount for the fund raiser.........and piss off every one behind you waiting.
