Did you face this issue before
My ZL1 2013 A, when driving the car normaly lets say the Auto gear is on the 2nd or 3rd. when I press the Gas pedal, half way, it doesnt accelerate properly and i feel thatthe car powerless. but as soon as the ger shifts to the next gear the power is back again. this happened with me alot recently. The dealer checked it and they said there is nothing wrong and they retuned the car. The problem is still there. Anyone has this before or knows about it?

Try to do the same thing , but in SPORT setting , and see what happen
I am not sure if the ZL has the AFM. If is in the ZL that's the reason the car responds the way it does . |

Doubt the ZL1 has AFM ... kinda sounds like you're pushing the accelerator down just to the point the car can't decide to stay in gear or down-shift. I've had that happen in older cars and it felt like the transmission couldn't decide what gear to choose based on current gear, speed, and throttle % called for. Could be wrong though.

ive seen it happen on an SS, its torque management, something to do with the transmission torque management tables and not engine torque management however. You can get rid of it if you decide to break your warrantee by modifying/ tuning the car.

I don't think I want to void the warranty. But there should be something wrong with the car. I don't think mod is the only solution.

I can't beleive that they are unable to identify the issue here in Dubai. The dealer sucks and they don't have the expertise !!!!!!! I raised the issue to GM Arabia which is the GM Regional office of the Middle east, the regional manager came and tested the car with me and his answer was "Normal, all cars should lose power at a specific gear" I cant beleive this bullshit !!!!! My car is a piece of junk !!!! at the third gear between 2000 and 3000 RPM the car is not accelratin, no power. and the Regional Manager is saying Normal. WTF, anyone can help here so my voice can reach the top management of GM.
