When is the Vararam intake coming?
They said sometime in August. Any word on the exact date and the projected hp?

Projected hp while the car is in motion is between 30-40, no exact date. Should be fairly soon, they mentioned their mileage testing was nearly complete. Keep an eye on the two threads here.

Sure that would be nice wouldn't it. But they are a company developing an intake, they have no obligation to post on our little forum. Were not the only ones they make intakes for. I agree with your point, but i say be happy with the updates we get and consider ourselves lucky for the amount of vendors and manufacturers that do post in here already, vararam included.

Any truth to the rumor that this type of setup sucks in rain water?
Supposedly vette owner have had to take theirs to the shop due to this. |

If we're only going to get 15-20 HP like New Era then why are we waiting for this thing to come out -- we should just go with New Era.

That was just mr draco's opinion. It will be more than that I assure you. And for one thing the welds look terrible on the new era. It's 500 for a second thing and my guess vararam will be slightly cheaper.

It's definatly going to be 67 - 184 hp minimum...that's in 108 temps with two plug wires pulled to make it sporting for the mustangs.

Guys, I'm holding out for Vararam...nothing wrong with waiting a few more to see if the claim is true. No one should really be in that big of a hurry. Just sit back....hold up....
This crucial part has been on my list for some time. If it comes out and isn't all it's cracked up to be....(like that would happen)...then I'll start looking elsewhere. IMO, it'll be worth it. |
