Hi everyone! I'm considering this cruise as well as the Alberta club cruise. So I read the wild rose group leaves from calgary. Is there a meeting place and time?

Hi Layla: sorry for putting you on the spot

We met at the Petro-Can at the Bowfort Road exit off of Highway 1 in the west end across from the Olympic park we were going to meet at 8:45 for a 9:00 departure but with your thought of going a little farther maybe hook up at 8:30 then everyone who needs to can fuel up and we can roll out at 9:00.

As it gets closer we can figure out timings, I'll help

1) Meet at Petro-Can at 8:45am for 9:00am
2) Driving time 1hr 5min approx;Meet at Palliser Trail (3rd exit at Canmore), SS Orange Crush (Marno and Donna), WBDinger (Wayne and Barb), Mjrracing97 (Myrna and Jim)
3) Depart at approx. 10:20am
4) Driving time 2hrs 24 mins approx; Arrive Golden for lunch turn clocks back 1 hour. Meet with Meltdownaverted ( Layla and ?).
5) Depart Golden at or before 12:30.
6) Driving time 2hrs 6mins approx; Arrive Three Valley Gap Ghost Town and Resort. Hopefully get some photos and await the arrival of the BC group.
7) When we are ready and have met everyone, head out in formation for Revelstoke, approx driving time 21 mins.

^^^^^how we rolled last year..... Jim and I have been talking.... Some possible tweaks for this year we will set it all in stone (kinda lol) a little closer to August

It was a lot easier to get out of the Last Spike as a group as there is a merge lane going East.

(And is where East met West the very 1st time.)

No fears Layla is looking at us going a little further this time so as we have ample parking for a group photo

No problem, I planned the out route last year because Layla didn't think she was going to make it after all of her work with Merc putting it together and I didn't want to walk on her
