A friend of mine has had one for years. He loves it as much as we love Camaro's.

We had a GEO Metro and we put 350,000 miles on it. Was a 3 cylinder auto and we averaged 36 mpg. 20 years later we have a 2011 Cruze and only average 34. That Metro was wicked once it hit 3 grand on the tach. A real sleeper...

I imagine it sounded wicked at least... I had a Geo Storm for a couple years. Best car investment I ever made. Paid $500 for it, put about 50k miles on it before it was almost completely dead. never did anything other than routine maintenance. Donated it and got a $1300 value as a tax write off...

Because it was a lovely medium green in color, I did get sick and tired of trying to explain that I really wasn't interested in men for dating.

Honestly it depends what has been done to the Geo... I got smoked by a Dodge Colt. NOT stock.

That's because the Dodge Colt used an easily modified Mitsubishi 1.6L turbo 4G32 engine in some of their models and the car doesn't weigh much.
