How about like the Z06, have it as an option. Standard with adjustable coils overs.

I really like a lot of the 1LE stuff... but also really like 2SS and RS content stuff. So maybe another version down the road based on a 2SS/RS and a little bump to the LS3 power, 1LE content, Z28 badges!
Build it as you said, don't change a thing!!!!!!!!!!!

I like option 1, but it needs to be lighter. Get rid of center speakers, put in manually adjustable recaros, no onstar. Basically a striped down 1ss with zl1 extras. Smaller wheels with zl1 wheels as an option.

You can't just grab and engine or a transmission or an axle and put it into the powertrain - there are all kinds of algorithms -- from throttle control to ABS to traction control.....etc.etc.etc.
whatever you guys did to this, it sound about right

That would be nice, sounds even more aggressive than the ZL1. I would definitely go for that icy white paint job.

The 1LE needs the blacked out rear like the SSX & the Hot Wheels hood.

How about just changing the cam? Or does that screw up the whole system?

As you know, GMPP has a very cool engine called the LS 376/480 which is just basically (I believe) an LS3 with a hot cam. Could that possibly be used in the 1LE? A hot cam would allow you to follow the Boss example with some extra horses. And a bigger car gets a few more horses.

That, with your concept, would be an AMAZING car! And hopefully much cheaper than a ZL1 in Canada.

It would be nice if it had a bit more HP but I think there would be enough interest if it were offered as is.
