Something about the clearcoat acting as a solvent and bringing up the red paint thus turning the decal pink. Mikethepowdercoater says this is why he doesn't do white decals. I'm freaking out about it

I wouldn't worry about it. But are you getting your calipers painted or powder coated?

Painted. Wondering if just applying paint then decal then clearcoat is sufficient.

hi, well if you paint red, then clear, let clear dry, sand clear, clean apply decals and then clear again. you wont have to worry about any bleed through because there is clear over the red, now i just painted, cleared then later put the decals, i did not clear over them, been a year and no prob's

email from xenonmods. where i just ordered my white brembo decals
-------------------------
Hi Eric - they'll be fine.

The only time the red bleeds through is on powder coating, not painting.

Just be sure to let the paint cure for about 24 hours and you'll be fine.

Thanks!
Rich

I was just about to post this. From what I've read from Mike@thepowdercoater is that it's an issue when powdercoating.

I used those high temp white vinyl and had someone test powdercoat them and it turned a burnt orange look. So, there is a trick to it when powder coating. I was on the fence with G2 vs powdercoat. Ultimately I pulled the trigger on powdercoat and they've been great but I think G2 (or paint) with some clear will probably work fine.

I cannot find 4" or 4.25" anywhere, can someone help me? I've even emailed a bunch of sellers on eBay and other sites asking for custom sizes but none have replied.

Does nowhere sell a package that has 4" fronts and 3.25" rears for the Camaro?

It looks like you have to buy 4" from one place and 3.25" from another.
