Will this much hp gain break the tires loose bad or does it still hook good?
You can't just add up horsepower gains like that. There is definitely going to be overlapping gains between headers and the diverters.

kinda what I figured. I actually thought it may just be 50rwhp since you are improving overall flow one way or another.

I am like you and want to be able to talk or listen to the radio while driving. On my L99 I have the AR headers and high flow cats with the stock muffler. This combination has worked great for me. When cruising it sounds like it did stock. When I hit the gas it comes to life. At WOT the sound is insane.

The torque to the wheels will depend a lot on your tune. There will definately be more wheel spin with more torque, but if you don't mess with the torque management you will not have as much wheel spin. Of course the point is to get as much to the wheels as possible so if you are concerned with hooking you should get drag radials.

WOW those are stout numbers I gotta buy one of these cars
Can you PM the price for this set-up also. Does this set-up leave the cat converter in place? My GM dealer told me they will honor AHR headers and install them as long as they do not take away the cat converter. Does this make since to you?

If you want to keep the cats, I'm pretty sure you would need to go with shorties, not long tubes.

That is false, most long tube headers are available with catted y pipes. You can keep your cats

Not your OEM cats. Depends on how strict the dealer wants to be. You may want to ask if high-flow cats are acceptable.

What 3" axle back would match up to this exhaust nicely?

Magnaflow?

This is what I have matched up to this setup. It sounds perfect IMO.

I just spoke to ARH rep and he did say that the cats are not removed in their long tube system unless you want them without the cats. It is connected right after the X-pipe from what he says.

Nick,

How similar are the G8 long tube headers and the Camaro long tube headers? If I get a Camaro can I use my current G8 headers on the Camaro?
Thanks.
