I don't have my Camaro yet, but I'm 50 and my neck / upper back area flares up every now and then, especially after golfing. I see a chiropractor and he's given me some good stretches to do. They help a lot. I also today purchased one of those TENS units for muscle stimulation from Amazon.

Lets put this in terms most people here would understand. Just like car dealers there are good Chiros and bad Chiros. Got hit by A drunk driver on my Harley. A Chiro worked on me for about 2 months after my ribs had time to heal and I am better than before in most areas. And yes he did tell me when my last appointment was. PT did wonders also, kept me from having neck surgery which is huge.

I need to bury this thread because my wife is a chiropractor.

Not sure why some felt the need to hijack this thread to become a chiropractic bashing. As a chiropractor for the last 18 years, I continue to be amazed at the generalities that people will make about my profession. I wonder why it is that when someone has a bad experience at an M.D.'s office, they blame that M.D.....but when someone has a bad experience at a chiropractor's office, they blame the entire profession. Like has been previously stated, there are good chiropractors and there are some that I would not let touch me. But I caution you about making broad statements about chiropractic. I have also heard horror stories of poor treatment in M.D. and P.T. offices but don't feel the need to degrade the entire profession. I have personally seen many remarkable results with patients that the medical profession had been unable to help. So I suggest that we get back to talking about Camaro's and leave personal prejudices to some other forum.

I suggest anyone who is having trouble turning around get some small comvex mirrors and attach them to their side mirrors. With these I don't even bother turning around anymore because they get all of the blindspots.

I took a break from the car all week and will drive it again next week. I am optimistic that I will figure out what is going on and fix it. I really don't want to get rid of the car after the long wait I had and besides the car is way too cool.

My wife keeps complaining about her neck being sore after she rides in the Camaro, but I guess my neck would be sore too if I had it lodged between the steering wheel and my crotch!!

It fits me just fine. 5'9" 180 lbs. I took mine on a 1609 mile trip to New England and back and I felt fine.

Well I don't call my comment bashing. And it's a public open discussion forum. It's ok for us to talk about opinions on neck. My advise was rock solid. All I said was in my opinion avoid the neck adjustments. The rest is ok.

And it's just not good to tell others what to say. It's not offtopic when you try to help out people.

I don't have my car yet. No neck pain, but my forehead is extremely tender. I think it may be from me beating my head on my desk.....

It's hard enough as it is driving a manual as my left foot is numb most the time. :(

And that is EXACTLY why I got an Automatic at this stage in my life!!!...
My son was sooooo disappointed that I didn't get the manual, as he thinks I'm the best "stick" driver he knows!!!...high compliment coming from a teenager...
I told him that I've "been there, done that", and my back and knees are not what they used to be and I plan on driving this car until I die, and they have to pry the keys from my cold, dead, hands!!!!!!!!!!!!...LOL....

BTW, I have a terrible back-multiple herniated discs and arthritis, but I think this car is soooooo comfortable for me...just got back from a road trip last weekend to Carlisle, PA for the CAMARO/GM Nationals and after 500+ miles round trip, as well as over 300+ miles driving home from Virginia, where we picked up our car, to NY where we live, I (knock on wood ) have had no back or neck issues...
We did stop every hour or so and that helped, but honestly, this car is soooooooooo comfortable and good for me...
Hope others have the same feedback!!!...

AMEN TO THAT!!!
My chiropractor "healed" my "heel" spurs(LOL) that I was scheduled to have surgery for...
This forum is about CARS, not DOCTORS, or anything else that seems to go off topic from time to time..............:(
