Trade it on a ZL1. That way you got factory warranty and everything else to back it up

Not a Dig to ZL1 Owners......Yea but ...... Ya didnt Build it...... I cost alot more...... and at the end of the day ...... there are plenty just like yours...... Further more.... we all know the 1900 is close to the safe ceiling of 25k rpms........and a few mods and its maxxed out ..... So then you buy a bigger Sc ...and Pay Someone to build a better ZL 1......
Like I said ... Ya didt build it ....

And Oh Yeah..... Is that a ZL1 ....or a guy with a 6cyl and a ZL1 KIT?

As a fellow synergy owner, I say if they offered the zl1 in synergy green, I would have traded up immediately... However, since that wasn't an option... I went with the new style SLP and had it painted to match...

Also, With my CAI, I just needed to order the adapter tube for the new S/C... and now it looks sweet...

Very pleased with my (new style) SLP TVS2300, 3.4" JRE pulley and I'm 9+ psi in 80* ambient temps. Modified the intake tube from the K&N cone to fit the SLP tube.

Obviously money is a concern, so is driveability. I currently have LT headers, high flow cats, Borla S-type and a SCT tuner from Jannetty. I also have a CAI but realize that this will have to go. Not looking to go too crazy but would love to add some serious muscle!! I love this car but want more! I will probably only go to the track a few times a year and already have a separate set of rims with Nitto 555R's.

Please advise. Although opinions are welcome, I'd really like to hear from the guys with actual experience. Just want to be informed before I spend this much money. My wife already thinks I'm nuts. HA!!

Thanks guys. Looking forward to hearing from you.

John
Since you are already dealing with Ted I would get an SLP blower from him. You have other aftermarket parts that will require a custom tune. Another $4-500. The tune from Ted will be free. You'll save $500 right there.

I went with an Edelbrock. I have all my work done at a Chevy dealership that also has a performance shop as well. They are an authorized dealer and had installed a lot of them. In fact they let me test drive a Camaro that had a E-force in it. It had 15,000 unkind miles after the supercharger was installed and the car ran great with no issues. That is what sold me. To be honest I think if my perfomance shop that I use sold Whipples, SLP, Magnuson, etc. I may have gone with another brand. For me it was about the quality of install, the trust I have in the shop, and what they suggest. However I did a lot of research and really liked the Edelbrock as well. It's a lot of money. Take your time.
