For your questions on "skip-shift" I have not found it to be bothersome at all, but we do have it on a Corvette of ours so I am just be used to it From what I gather it is easy/affordable to bypass, so if you find it bothersome once you drive it a bit you can change it.

Glad to hear Toronto has thawed! Hopefully it stays that way, but I hear MI is getting 2-4 inches tonight :(

MPG has been great. We are at about 2200 miles on the trip and have done better than we expected--even with all the engine revving people ask for a lights Also, tank holds more than enough--On the trip I was forcing more stops for coffee than we needed for fuel!

Still find the seats comfy, but am dreading the upcoming two-day drive

If you get tired, take a side trip to Northern VA. I am cooking dinner for tomorrow night and there are enough drinks in this house to pickle a moose. There is also a comfy bed and a nice warm garage for the Camaro. Plus, it would be nice to see what a VR SS looks like in there to prepare.

You know I was a Service Writer for Bob Taylor Chevy . He always trys to get cool stuff like that done. In 98 we had the Dale Earndhardt #3 car at the dealer ship. One of Dale's tech's took it down the service drive and did a burn out the whole length of the drive way. Boy was Bob pissed!!!

Actually that's exactly what I'm saying. The brakes are fine. The look small, but they aren't small. It is the wheels that are the problem. They're too big.

Bryan,

I can't believe you didn't tell me about this. It was at the Chevy dealer right across the street from my office, and I even drove my 69 in that day. You're killing me.

I think a brief stop in central florida on the way would make the trip easier. If there was some way to find you on 75 other than just sitting on the side of the road all day waiting for you to drive by I'd sooo be there in a heartbeat.
