Got a CAI intake! And next day Camaro gets hit with a Target Shopping cart. Ugly dent

Like wtf honestly, people cant push their Target carts to a cart corral and yet they just leave their carts stranded in the middle of the parking lot on a windy day? First off this is the intake I put in yesterday, from Cold Air Inductions!.

And today when I was leaving work early (Target security guard) I come across this nice dent. I go back into the office and review the video, and I see the shopping cart fly down the parking lot (about 90 feet away) and boom right into my car. And believe me I have been parking in this spot for a year and a half, and its far from the store. And yet shit happens.

I hope Target pays for this.

Why would Target pay for it? Did they set up industrial fans in the lot?

Because it happened on their private property with their carts that their cart attendants failed to pick off the parking lot.

While I was inside catching shoplifter's saving them money.

If you have evidence of the cart doing damage, I don't see why your insurance company would charge you with a deductible.

Most big box retail stores will cover the damage. Especially when you work for the company!

People are lazy and don't care most the time not to mention don't stop to THINK! My car has dings from others all over it sadly an I cant wait to get the money to fix it all this summer I hope. The other day walking through the parking lot to the grocery store there was honestly a stamped of wind powered carts running towards this persons car. I bulleted as fast as I could to catch these carts. Luckly I did in time. It wasn't a nice car just s suv little old but still fact of matter that was someones vehicle. despite whether or not they care about it or take care of it etc. I still went out of my darn way to stop those devil carts.

Later on I thought to my self for a moment, Was it worth it? or would someone do the same for me? I doubt it.

Sorry about your bad luck, I hope all gets taken care of and paid for by your work if it works out right.

Watching the video was like getting punched in the face. I don't think anyone here wants to see a Camaro getting damaged -.- Thanks guys, I hope it will be fixed next week.

Walmart has a policy if your car gets damaged while you're on the clock and parked in employee designated parking (white lines), Walmart will pay for the damages. I imagine Target would have a similar policy, but I'm not sure.
