I'd still go with the ZL1. I wanted a car I can drive on the street 90% of the time and take to the track 10%, not the other way around. Permagrin is still strong here!

I'm so in love with the New 2014 Z/28 I want to sell kidney for it I'm going say I was wrong about the Z/28 coming out for 6th gen and not 5th gen but wow I'm in love with it. It is exactly how it is supposed to be stripped of anything not really useful to the die hard car guys who don't care about insulation and radios and ac I need none of that for my daily driver. To the people who need that buy a different Camaro ZL1 if need that stuff. I'm going to guess this will be a 47 to 51k price point of a car. With the Ls7 and the carbon brakes those are two really expensive items. This kind of reminds me of what Porshe does with the Gt3 heck those have a inside door handle delete for a nylon door pull to save weight. Now I really need to play the lotto so I can buy Vin number 1.

But is this the Z28 you all wanted? A real track only car? A/C optional? No trunk mat? I did not know that part.

'14 1LE 1SS for me now with the Recaros and a stereo radio.
That's pretty much exactly how I wanted it. Who needs a radio when youc an listen to an LS7 with with tri y headers and dual mode exhaust? I can see adding A/C because living in California without it sucks but then again, no car I have ever driven on a regular basis has had working A/C so I can live without it.

Agreed!
=====================

And I'm not that impressed with the Z28 looks. Don't like the wing or the wheels.

I''ll take the ZL1 anyday...JMO.
