I know, I talked to Justin and Colin about Jason testing the LFX manifold. However, James and Chris from JE does not recommend drilling into the manifold with a boosted setup trying to push a lot of power. Drilling into the plastic composite weakens it and overtime small cracks will eventually expand weakening the intake further and eventually I will have problems.

Sounds like they want more of your money lol.

Another thing, I saw you want to put quarter panel dumps on the car. I would strongly advise against that. You should take your entire catback off the car and go drive it around for a few days so you can hear what it's going to sound like. I took mine off and ran it with open downpipes just so I could hear it. Well I drove the car a few miles and immediately turned around and babied it back because it sounded so embarrassly bad.

Talked it over with Justin already and we agree its a good route to take.

I used to be straight piped, all 3" piping and she sounded amazing! The exhaust dump is more to drop weight and not have to worry about breaking hangers.

Instant dumps won't sound the same as full 3" exhaust but as long as you know what you're in for.

I agree. The Mustang V6 intake is ridiculously ugly. At least with the Camaro, everything is mostly symmetrical.

However, if you wanted one of the best looking intakes, the old TPI was the bomb. I think the LT5 on the C4 ZR1 was one of the best ever. It was like TPI on steroids.

Tuned Port Injection.
Intake manifolds were very similar to those used on carburetor engines. The throttle was above the heads and centered on the engine. The runners to each cylinder were tuned in length, similar to the way headers are tuned.
Injectors were placed in the ports on rails just like our V8s.

It was first available for the Camaro on 1985 Z/28s.

Yes. You can. I have mine cleaned up like the pic from page 1 of this thread. Pretty simple to do really. Two retaining clips on each bank that's about it. Used a knife to cut through fabric and pull them off in a couple pieces carefully.
