Nice pickup on the parts. Where did you get your plugs and wires at and how much?

I got them from WS6Store. They have great prices and fast shipping. Ordered this Wednesday around 5 and had them yesterday with ground shipping. The wires were around $64 I think and the spark plugs were $18(2 boxes of 4 at $9 each)

Been a while. Decided to stick with the Magnaflow... For now.. Muffler is gonna be used on something else..

Got them yesterday, TSP Y-Pipe is supposed to be here today. Yes they are Ebay Headers. I talked to a guy and ordered from the same person he got his from and he said he hasn't had any problems out of them yet. Saved some $$$ too. Will update when I have it all installed, I will take pictures of the install and post for those who would like to see. I will get some before and after video too.

They look damn good, and identical to any big brand headers, just a lot cheaper.
Y Pipe came today

Pieced it all together and hooked the headers up to it, couldn't wait!

From all the pics I've seen of TSP's Y pipe they all look like they are one piece. Mine came in pieces, with U clamps, which people have said have horrible ground clearance, so I'm running up to autozone to grab 4 more band clamps. It came with 2 band clamps for where the header goes into the Y pipe. But, I like that mine is in pieces, looks like it will be easier to get it hooked up once the headers are on the car.. We will see though.

Gonna start unbolting the coil packs and taking that stupid AIR crap out tonight. Gotta order block off plates tomorrow. Forgot those haha.

I'll update with some pics tonight.

All I can say is 'Good Luck.'

I'm currently 'installing' mine..

Fitment is a BITCH for any brand, and the fact that there's no crush on your TSP ORY may be seen as a blessing, but it'll also wind up a curse during install. Reason being that the crush helps the Y pipe mate easier with the collector on the headers. Doesn't affect the flow much as you'd think especially having seen how the crush 'works' on the pipe.

Namely the drivers side...

Pro shops I've talked to said that in almost all cases they've had to hand work the pipe to fit (be it cold or hot bending) as well as the Y pipes banging the floor boards when you really punch it. Some say the solution is a Y pipe support clamp (sort of like a muffler hanger) or to swap mounts out with either Poly or solid mounts.

In the end do the wise thing and DO MOUNTS WHILE THE HEADERS ARE OFF!! It'll help alleviate not only the banging but also any play the motor has via the probably now decimated rubber stock pieces.

And thank god TSP sent you two bolt clamps rather than the common-place single bolt band clamps you see some companies skate by with. OH, and if you're doing gaskets.. OEM uber alles. Nothing truly seals as well as the GM factory gaskets.

I haven't heard of anybody having to bend the pipe to make it fit.. I'll see when I get that far i guess.

Here's tonights progress. Didn't start till almost 9, so not a lot got done.. But got everything in the engine bay ready to take the manifolds out. Going to start early in the morning taking the old y pipe out and removing the cats and hopefully get the manifolds out before I have to go to work.

Went ahead and removed the pass. side coil pack to get some more room to get to that last headers bolt. Was gonna unbolt the drivers side, but the 5th bolt attaches to the AIR pump and it was a bitch trying to get it off, so we left it cause I'm keeping the AIR anyways..

And this is what happens when you barely have room to fit your hand to get the last plug wire out.. Busted my knuckle up pretty bad trying to get it. Glad I got new wires lol.

I'll update tomorrow!

Oh wow, you stripped it all down.. I didn't even take my coil packs off, let alone the whole air intake. Taking the AIR pump ot and everything?

The only reason I took the coil packs off, is because of trying to get that wire out.. PITA.. No room to work with at all.. It's a world of difference with it off. May not seem like it but it did lol.. And the intake thing, ehh cause we we're going by some dudes writeup on LS1Tech(which is the best I've ever seen, detialed pics, etc.) and dad said just do it exactly how he did.

And no, leaving the air on, don't wanna throw any more codes then I'm alrready going too. And dad siad just leave it,, it's not hurting anything. And plus would have to find a plug for the intake..
