Figured I'd introduce myself since I’ve been lurking for a while… Chris here from central CT. Got my RJT 1SS mid May from Carter in Manchester (that was a hoot *ugh*)
First I got approved and picked out a Vic Red w/white rally stripes to be delivered from Albany, but then during dealer swap/negotiations, they said that they wouldn’t let it go. What b.s.! So I almost called it quits because I’ve had Vic Red cars for so long, and that’s what I really wanted. Then Carter said they can get me the RJT for a lower price and throw in the stipes… blah blah blah… so I said what the hell, it’s a more “mature” color anyway. Hehehe. Currently running a custom intake and ******* Tune. No dyno time yet, and Pypes axle-back in the mail. I have been in the Cobalt/tuner scene for a while with my 2007 Cobalt SS/SC. Spent a little too much money on ‘er, but the last dyno tune put down 285whp on a dynojet But then I think Carter killed that car because they called me after a week of taking deliver of the camaro, and techs were asking me how to fix this, fix that, “we need to replace the head”… poor thing! :,( Anyway, glad to be here and hope to meet some of you around town J Also, some Cobalt buddies are planning a tip to OnTrack Karting in Wallingford October 8th. I have a 2010 Camaro 2SSRS with ground effects. I was wondering how people who own any Camaros have any tire wear issues? I have a little over 16,000 miles on the car, and I might have to replace the Pirelli P Zero tires within the next several months. Please let me know how good or bad the tire wear is on your car. Thank you

Rotating is not reccomended and you certainly can't do a normal tire rotation with the staggered tire sizes. I would expect better than 20,000 miles though, are you pushing her hard?

Forgot about not rotating in any case I have over 18,000 miles and they still look pretty good. My guess at least 25,000 before I might have to replace them.

From what people here tend to say the avg. life is 15-20k some better some worse. It really depends on how you drive. Note this is for the 20" tires.
