Well this thread has been pretty stagnant lately and I wanted to be the first one to say something about a meeting to take pictures and meet with some local people. I have seen alot of threads going up that have pictures from all over and with tons of camaros and Camaro5 members in them, so I think its our turn to do the same.

I was figuring for sometime in mid december to give everyone time to make plans especially if your not in the local area and have to drive a little ways.

So what do you guys think? any ideas or suggestions!

I'm in... don't know much about cedar lake I live up in Hattiesburg, however it sounds like a good excuse to spend the weekend on the coast though...

Jimmie thanks for your service brother, retired 23 years Army...

Thanks and gratz on making it to retirement I need 10 more years to hit my 20!

Well Cedar lake is right off the I-10 so its real easy to get to and from. I am figuring for a meet around the 19th, which is a saturday, so those of you who are not in the local area can plan a bit.

Too bad my new Camaro5 Hoodie wont be here yet lol

Same for me I live on Canal just past Hwy 49. I want to do this so we can post some pics up of our local area on the formus and show that Mississipi is holding it down!

To all the Hattiesburg area people. Do any of you know where a closed road or section of road(least a 1/4 mile) is around the burg? I should be getting my 2SS in about 2 weeks and I need somewhere to play and break it in. If not I guess I'll be stuck doing donuts in the Turtle Creek Mall parking lot after hours. LOL

Anybody got suggestions for locations for the meet other than on Cedar lake? I'm just curious because It may be better to meet up somewhere near the beach or something for a more photogenic area. Cedar lake is pretty populated with businesses lol
