couple of the biggest differences, is that the lfx has a composite intake manifold, where the llt has an aluminum intake manifold. also, the lfx has an integrated exhaust manifold, meaning you can't get aftermarket headers, whereas the llt, has the standard exhaust manifolds, and can be replaced with short or long tube headers. also, the ECU is different.

One of the big things is that the heads and exhaust headers on the LFX are one piece which means no buying aftermarket headers for it. The LLT has the regular heads with separate exhaust headers. I believe the LLT was rated in 2010 at 306 horsepower but then in 2011 at 312? And then the LFX is rated at 323. Basically if you're a modder and want to put headers on your car try to get an LLT. Otherwise the LFX is the most power u can get from a V6 in a camaro

Thank you for the info. Too bad I can't put headers on my lfx. Oh well. But thanks for the quick response.

Here's another post with some more details: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6307702.
The LLT came with a Bosch ECU which wasn't as tune-friendly as the Delphi unit the V8s got. The LFX got a Delphi ECU, and have been easier to tune. However, I've heard the 2013s had another change to the ECU, not sure exactly what, though.

What is better on the lfx that gives it more power? Is there a major difference in the heads? Aside from the exhaust manifolds? Possible to swap out heads?

There is a major difference in the heads, as the LFX integrates the exhaust manifold as part of the head. I don't think you'll be swapping them out. I don't know why you'd want to.

Yeah, you literally don't NEED headers on the LFX because your car comes STOCK with the HP benefit. Seriously, the consensus is that the LFX bottle neck is the muffler, not anything before it.
