It is a short shifter. It makes the distance that you have to move the shifter from each gear shorter.

Hurst happens to be one of many companies that makes shifters for many cars. In our case, a Hurst short-throw shifter is an option.
This particular shifter is designed so you don't have to move the shifter as far when changing gears as you do with the stock manual shifter. It makes for faster and more precise gear changes (usually). |
