Since we are awaiting on a missing Valley cover and oil pan gasket that never came with the shipment, Jerry went ahead and changed the valve springs:

So now that the biggest part of my build is done, onto the next. Going to change out my DRL lights to Cree LED lights:

Also waiting on a DRL harness from Ofer. If it gets here before the weekend, gives me something to do on Saturday!!!

So here is the start up of my engine cover project. I have the one that came with the car, and I purchased two additional covers. My plan is to have a driving cover. Basically one that stays on the car. My plan for the two additional covers is to have "show covers." When we attend shows I can swap out the covers for my newly painted ones once they are completed.

So one of the covers I purchased, the previous owner painted the V8 in IBM and it was cleaner than my original cover so it would be the easiest to install the decals.

So cover number 1, my driving cover:
