Thank you for understanding SnoopyAce7 ...

As I said in my original post, it was a consideration for spirited driving as in aggressive canyon driving or a track. Just like I wear my full suit you see in my avatar even when riding my Ducati through the canyons and passing ALL you guys in your cars as I drag my knee around a corner...some of you guys may laugh at guys like me when you see me pull up at the gas station in my full suit on my bike but when you get guys snapping pics of you riding on the street like this I turn the joke right around on you

For the record, I would never consider wearing driving gloves when driving the ZL1 under "normal" conditions (i.e. average daily use) just like I don't wear my full suit when riding my Ducati around town

I'm either going to have to wear gloves or change out my steering wheel...

Love the look, but can't take the feel of suede on my palms...

Come On Ice pick,
Don't take these posts serious. I personally enjoyed the fun it gave everyone. Goves are an intergal part of any saftety suit, No question. Nomex has saved countless lives. I couldn't resist. Sorry. hehehehe... SEE? Still funny. Don't worry though, I'm not laughing at you.. I'm laughing WITH you.

Make sure to sell me your wheel if you get a new one... I love it but am affraid it will not last forever... Gloves would be a great idea to keep it in pristine condition (by keeping my sweaty little paws from it) but I couldn’t take the wtf-looks from all the other people… lol

that's why I didn't get it on my car. I drove a CTS-V with the suede wheel and I don't like the feel of the suede on my palms either, plus it would look terribly bad after several years of my sweaty a$$ hands rubbing all over it in the year-round California heat...gloves seem to be the only alternative .

Now if I could only find a pair of gloves that make me look as cool as this guy...

Unfortunately I bought one off the lot and didn't have a choice... but I did originally order suede anyway, just didn't realize how it would feel. I do think it's going to be very durable.

I may just have to start driving w/ my knees.
