Watch for the #12 Camaro at the Rolex 24 at Daytona on Jan. 24th-25th. Here is the info on the car and driver. Hope it will be televised.
"RVO Motorsports entered the No. 12 Chevrolet Riley for Roger Schramm, Tonis Kasemets, Paul Dallenbach and Bill Lester, a former NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver."

SPEED always has most of the 24 hours of Daytona on, I usually leave it on the entire time and will check in on how the race is going throughout the day.

And isn't the "Chevrolet Riley" a Daytona Prototype chassis with a Chevy engine? I don't see Camaro mentioned anywhere.

Riley is a chassis. I will be there the whole weekend, (Thurs-Sun). I would bet they have the GS car there at least on display if they aren't running in the KONI series yet.

Riley Technologies built the Blue racing camaro that was at SEMA. That is the car that will be racing at this event.
I don't have the Speed channel....

While Riley Technologies did build the SEMA Camaro, the aforementioned #12 RVO Motorsports entry is NOT the Camaro. It is a Pontiac powered Riley chassis Daytona Prototype and has no relation to the Camaro.

The Camaro is supoposed to be running in the KONI Challenge Series support race which is on January 23, however it is NOT listed on the official entry list yet:

Its possible they are holding it off for seleced events after the car's debut.

Ahhhh, but you NEED the Speed Channel, that's where you can see the first 5th gen Camaro auctioned off at the Barret Jackson auctions in a week or so (as well as some very nice first gens that always show up). I watch a lot of programming on the Speed Channel, from various racing series to car shows to auto auctions, lots of good stuff there.

ahhh.....the way they made it sound in a previous article, the Camaro will be competing in the Koni Challenge Series and the Rolex 24 was one race in that series.

I'm sure they could build a Camaro to compete in the GT class at the Rolex 24, but I'd bet they won't start showing up till next season to replace the Pontiac GXPs
