do shorties make the car louder like Long Tubes ? any gain seen from shorties over LS3 stock manifold ?

it makes the car rumble a little nicer but they're not nearly as loud as long tubes. the bbk website states that these give the car 12-18 rear wheel horsepower over stock. the ceramic coating also helps keep the temperature down inside the engine bay, too.
