Camaro 2010 SS First 1/4 Mile Test

Sorry guys...Im not sure if this is a repost but just ran into this video on the the tube...

Hennessey Performance tests their bone stock 2010 Camaro SS at Lonestar Motorsports Park and runs 13.6 @ 108 mph with a 2.3 60 ft.

Yea, that 0-60 was crap. Even the mags got better times. I bet he went a lil slow on purpose. Think about it... they're trying to sell upgrades. It benefits them to have a bigger "increase".

I don't know this guy? Is he independent? Or is he a tuner who's going to "dog it" in the stock runs so when he starts modding it that the performance increase is made much better when he drives it well?

It will be interesting to see what real people can do with this .. I'm not to worried about the 13.6 as w/ the 2.3 60' time as usually 1 on the little end is worth 2 on the top end .. so a 2.0 would come in around 13.0 .. I'm more worried about the 108mph .. seems very low for the manual ..

I agree that the car is quite a bit quicker than that. That is the slowest time that I have yet by anyone.
