My ZL1 at June 1st WannaGoFast 1/2 Mile Drag Shootout

I had a blast at Bult Field; the most fun I have had in a while actually. I am currently editing and uploading videos from my GoPros right now, so here are a couple of me against a modded 392 Challenger from a dig.

Was anybody else out there on Sunday?

Now that looked twice as fun as a 1/4 mile run. Nice Videos

Sounds fun, anyone else notice that Dodge doesn't brake for crap. Have to watch out for that, I have guys crawling up my ass at my 1/8th mile track after I smoke them and we make the turn because they don't upgrade the brakes.....

....and we didn't need to.

Very cool Videos

Ummmm, not trying to start anything but the Challenger SRT's brake pretty damn good. As a matter of fact, it can stop faster than the ZL1.....But anyway, Ive always wanted to do a half mile deal.

Great videos. They let you run in a vert with no problem? I need to find something like that!

I checked with the event organizers a couple of months ago to confirm this, and they cleared me without question; there were several Corvette convertibles running there as well. If I wanted to run with the top down, I would have had to install a cage and a 5-point safety harness.

138.1. I ran three races total; two from a roll (which averaged around 133 mph, and the one dig that was a 138.1). I wish that I could have stayed longer so I could have broken into the 140s.
