Ok now how many people can catch pics of it on its way back to FL

I am sure I10 will be a majority of its route....

What did they do about the bcm, I am curious because i am buying a v6 car and putting the drivetrain in an s10, well the engine mainly rest of it will be c5 vette stuff

Thanks everyone. Again, it's because of the people on here that all sanity was not lost. OK, what little sanity remained was not lost...

Now just have to wait for the transport truck to do its thing. Because of the low ground clearance the enclosed truck has a lift gate. That way no ripping pieces off during shipping.

For now, the BCM is bypassed for all base functions. That way the systems that are needed to run the car operate properly. But, we do know that the boost controller works very well...

If you need to know where are the standard Camaro buttons are,, like headlight switch, door locks, hazard lights, trunk open, USB port feel free to ask...

There are no dumb questions for a new Camaro owner...

The SST gets picked up Wed/Thurs. It is confirmed by all this time.
NRE took the car out this past weekend and did some high boost runs.

Race driver and Tom as co-pilot have tested many, many fast cars. They both said when the boost comes in on the SST rpms rise like a rocket - much quicker than their 427's. I can't quote their exact words since this is a family friendly website, but it was colorful... They both said even at the levels they could check, it is a single digit car.

Low/no boost it drives like a grandma's car.

I told them not to worry about the factory tires, so they proceeded to do a 550 foot burnout laughing the whole time. They figured that was long enough to 'christen' the SST. Tom said he will post some pics/video but they will be tame. They don't want to get in trouble for some of the runs they did...

Delivery date to Florida is June 20th. It has only been 1,078 days since it left...

Buddy I was not going to comment til I knew SST was rolling towards Florida. Didn't want to jinx anything.

But sounds like a done deal. So all I can say is congrats man.

You were so patient in this deal. Myself I would have gone crazy by now. I hate not being in control of stuff. Enjoy.
