Please Help - Under Car lighting install issue

Okay so I have installed all the lights around the car and now I have to hook up the white power box and store it in a dry place (see green arrow in photo). I want to put it in the trunk. However, the cord is not long enough. I found a plug above the rear passenger side muffler leading to the trunk, but after I string the cord with zip ties to the under body it will not reach.

I am not opposed to putting in the backseat, but would like to put it in the trunk. Can I drill a hole behind the rear passenger wheel well? (see blue arrow in photo) Also, where do these plug lead? (see red arrow in photo)

Any other ideas on where I can run this cord to that I am not seeing?

I would extend the wire.
solder the connections and heat shrink the joints.
