Since I don't race my car the stock shifter feels fine to me...It may also be that being 6'2 and having longer arms may attribute to the smooth, firm shifts, as well...

In daily driving mode, the MGW seems a little over the top. You have to put effort into the shifts, 1/2 and 5/6 you have to pull/push harder than on the stock shifter to ensure it lines up for the gear.

But, when your driving your car hard, not thinking about that and in "drive fast mode", the MGW is a perfect shifter. You're not thinking about the effort it takes to line up, it just slams right into gear. It's a beautiful thing and damn if I don't love that shifter when I'm driving my car with some zest!!

Awesome shifter, excellent investment for sure.

It is a great product. Have had it for 2 years in my car. Corvette owner told me about too.

I had an MGW in the SS, it is a great shifter.
The only thing I dont like abotu it is shifting into reverse takes alot of effort.
Its the only reason I did not keep it for the ZL1.

I also have the Hurst and love it. Short clean precise shifts.

Flat stick looks good but I want to keep that stock look. I hate those 8 ball looking shifters

MGW does have the option of using your stock shift knob with their shifter. I was thinking about going that route so it looks all factory.
