6Gen fuel door on 5Gen?
I love the 6gen Fuel Doors and hate the 5gen ones lol
I know the mount is different. But anyone knows if they are the same size? Would love to modify it to make this work. If not i might have to 3d Print my own :-) 6gen Fuel Door

The make one just like the one in picture you posted for the 6gen for the 5th gen. A couple of places you can find them, this is the one Phastek ... if you're looking for black or another color, you might have to paint it, but I would think that might be easier then modifying one if the 6gen doesn't fit.

i was wondering the same thing. the 6th gen doors look really nice but fitment is a concern i would go to a dealership on a sunday when they are closed or something and measure the door lol and take a look at the inside mount to get a idea?

Go when they are open! back in early 90's when 4th gen first came out, I went to my local dealer and took a lot of pics. they let me open up hood and get inside. I was building a model for my new-born son and wanted it to look just right!

Agreed the 6th Gen door has a little more heft to them just feels like a better part.

I'm thinking about it ..should not be to hard to make fit ..worst case scenario a little bit of Dremel work on the backside of the fuel door cover on the 6gen door make it nice flat and smooth sand it down. Get some 3M adhesive promoter and some super strong 3M tape should be all that you need to make it work.
