I would like to see a front subframe to use C5/6 components.

Yah....curious as to what the SS-X is all about. I googled it and found a hit from this site but the link and thread had been removed....Hmmmmm

To me it looks like it might be more of a stripped down version made for race. Based on the fuzzy pictures looks like different wheels, smaller steering wheel, spoiler, and the red seen through the windows in the bottom pics--could that be a roll cage?

Something tells me Pfadt might have something to do with the SSX.
Maybe a track package with racing seats and 18" or 19" wheels..

SSx in the past was a dealer/conversion trim package that was offered on impala's, tahoe's, suburban's, siverado's and full size vans to name a few. I remember seeing an impala lt and suburban at the nearest stealer a few years ago.
I hope chevy is not going to start offering tacky stripe packages for the camaro, the camaro is a classy muscle coupe that imho should not be tricked out unless it is a limited run production camaro like a ZL1 type performance pac. We do not need strips getting the non enthusiast confused with the true SS and not just an added on stripe pac. jmho
