Back in the day, 1967, my parents gave me Mom's 1963 T-Bird on my 16 Birthday. A few years later Dad borrowed my 1963, wreaked it, then gave me his late model 1966 T-Bird. Shortly after, he borrowed the 1966 & wreaked it.
Loved my T-Birds and pissed when I was young and Dad wreaked both my T-Birds. Now, wish Dad was alive to drive the Camaro as I think he would have liked it.
A car can be replaced, your memories with your Dad can not be replaced. Hopefully decades in the future you will look back and smile with the memory of you and Dad driving together.

Did you ever wreck one of your Dad's cars growing up? Sounds as if he's getting you back. J/K, glad no ones hurt. Get her fixed and never let him forget about it ha ha!

I did same thing, sorta, in nov and it was more damage than I ever imagined could be done. We had to replace a lot of parts. I have some left over oem suspension parts if you need them.

It was enough of an expense I turned it over to the insurance, few $thousand for just hitting a curb at about 20mph if that with rear driver side. From sounds of it you'll need all new lca, toe rod, trailing arm, possible sways, sway bracket, wheel, tire, possible brake line as mine was split, and ill have to find my invoice see the rest

"because... Racecar"
That made it all worthwhile. I've offered to let my Dad drive mine but he's worried he'll keep driving and never come back.
No one's hurt and while it may suck to be down for a while, it had to be a good feeling to put a smile on his face.

Glad no one was hurt, I'm sure your car will fixed up like new again!!

I'm on borrowed time with my dad, I'd love for him to be able to drive mine, but he lost his license a few years ago as he tends to randomly doze off. One day you will both laugh at this and eventually you will cherish the time, good or bad you had with him. Like someone else said, give him a hug and tell him you still love him, even if you are mad at him.

I would say now is as good a time as any to look into upgrading the suspension with some good aftermarket components....Just a thought...see what insurance will pay and throw in a little more for better performance parts...labor should be "free" and can be done by the dealership...

You gotta keep giving your dad Mulligans...lol...One day, when you have kids, you'll see why...lol...

I agree, Belle, it's wrecked. That would bring a tear to my eye. Meantime, keep the 'ol man as far away from your Camaro as possible. You have the patience of Job! Me -

Sorry to hear the bad news. This is the reason that I don't let anyone drive my car. Everyone wants to see how fast it is and they have no idea how much power this beast has. Hope you get her all fixed up fast.
