Camaro Headroom Question
What's up everybody. I'm thinking about buying a camaro really soon like within the next few months but I have a dilemna. I'm 6'6 and I was wondering would I have enough room to fit in one of these awesome machines?

I'm 6'0 and have no problem - my cousin sat in the drivers seat over memorial day weekend and is 6'7 or 6'8 and said he'd have no problem driving it.
There are similar threads like this where many people your height say they have no problems either. Good luck with your car search! |

The only way you will find out is to go to a dealer & get in one yourself...Don't rely on someone else too give you the info!!

Commits weekly crime

Also, having the sunroof makes for less headroom.

Dont get a sunroof!!! Im just about 6'6" and 300lbs. My seat is slid all the way back, down as far as it can go, and the back of the seat is tilted back quite a bit. I have the sunroof and theres pretty much no room up there but I do fit.

There is a lever that will move the seat up and down on the seat. I had no idea it was there and my kid was sitting in the seat and started playing with it and I saw it moved it. Pretty cool kid.

I am 6'1 - got the sunroof- and to drive this thing comfortably, and feel safe visibility wise when I drive I am at the peak of just touching the roof on my head. For me it is a perfectly snug fit.

The roof on these Camaros are not as low as they look. It's mostly an optical illusion. They didn't lower the roof, they raised the beltline. I have a '69, an '87, and a '10 in my garage right now and the roof on the '10 is about even with the '69. The 87 has the lowest roof, by far. My '10 has a sunroof and it does have less headroom than my buddy's 12, without a sunroof.
