I almost ordered mine yesterday but I wanted white so I was going to wait and order later. Now that it looks like most of the cars will be ordered by then I will be missing out. I wonder if I ordered today if white is even an option? Any thoughts???? I may have to do the Ice silver SS....

What I got out of it (and I am by no means an "insider"), my opinion only, is that the dealer will actually get the cars much in the same way the allocation percentage was figured out. For the dealership that was allocated 60 versus the dealer that was allocated 6, for every 6 vehicles the "60 guy" gets, the "6 guy" will get one. Even the "big guy" won't get ALL his cars first.

I agree with Pink,

It's gonna be hard to be so patient now that everyone is getting ordered up!

This will be the longest, hardest wait yet. But in the long run, we can muster up some bigger down payments.

What the hell are we gonna speculate now??

So true!!! Spent 30 minutes telling my wife about ordering and the lists and such. Then she hits me with two questions I hate to think about...

1. So how long til you get your convertible?

2. You gonna be checking that site every day still? What else could you possible need to know?

Guess the only thing left to do is call my dealer every day for the next year and ask him when I can get on the list for the convertible

Almost forgot the worst thing... A beautiful southern AZ day in March. "Hey look!!! Thats the new Camaro... I thought you were gonna get one of those."
Next day... Newspaper headline: "Tucson man drives car off cliff, wife says he was under a tremendous amount of stress"

Okay, I stopped at my Chevy dealer today, and to my relief, they knew what I was talking about and I didn't have to give a two hour long seminar on the Camaro.

Now here comes the weird part. They said that their allocation was FORTY Camaros, and 38 had already been ordered.

Is that even possible? It seemed like the trend was around 10 Camaros per dealer...

I was thinking that the guy just wanted me to order one...

it's defs. possible but i would not believe him unless i saw the paperwork directly off of chevylaunch.com or he let me look at the computer when they were logged onto chevylaunch
