I have quite a few pics of both the Z/28 and the COPO from this past weekend. What a great time!!! However, my understanding was that neither Scott nor GM had anything to do with the COPO being there. That COPO is OWNED by the winner of the drawing at last year's SEMA show, who won the chance to be "offered" the car. So....he partnered up with another guy and they bought the $93k car together. He is a licensed NHRA Drag Racer, and has a few other cars too. He had the COPO and another one of his cars out at the drag strip in Sturgis on Saturday evening. BTW...his other car was faster than the COPO.....(at least in the 1/8th).
BTW....the rear end (fascia) on the Z/28 really doesn't look that bad in person. Seeing pictures of the 2014 change, I really hated it, but in person it does look pretty good. |
