Obama Ecstasy Pill....scary stuff...

As many of you guys may already know, there is a lot of drug trafficking entering from Mexico into the US. Well south texas is one of the areas where we see a lot and I mean A LOT of drug activity, this one was scary though. Just yesterday a 22 year old guy got pulled over and was busted with some ecstasy pills, meth and some other stuff. The scary part about the bust was that the pills were in the shape of President Obama, Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson and the smurfs. The pills are being disguised to look like children's vitamin pills. As this stuff enters the US, it makes its way up north to the rest of the US. Figured I post to let everyone know to be on the look out for this kind of stuff. It makes me sick that these guys will sell to kids just to make a buck.

the means and penalty should be a lot worse than sitting in jail for this stuff. . I recommend taking the guys hands so he can't give any of these pills to kids. . . nor could he drive the pills to the US again.

They aren't doing this to sell it to kids. They are doing it to smuggle the drugs past customs and fool police.

Back when LSD was readily available, it was sometimes disguised to look like those stick on tattoos kids used to play with. But the LSD wasn't marketed to children, it was packaged that way to hide the LSD from law enforcement.

Unfortunately this is nothing new. Drug dealers always try to target kids and teens to get them to buy. This is no different the Cheese heroin or "Strawberry" meth that is being distributed to our kids.

It just makes you mad and angry. The truth of the matter is that this stuff is getting closer and closer to our kids and something really needs to be done.

I also hate to say it but the war on drugs will never be over. Not just the fact that there are so much narcotics entering and being distrubuted throughout the country; but the simple fact that the war on drugs alone is multi-billion dollar effort that employs millions of people. Truth of the matter is our government can't afford to win.

even if they arent being sold to kids...say one is laying on the table, a 5 yr old sees it and says "hey, a new vitamin" (because we all know kids don't ask when something looks like candy, or sumthing they actually do take(vitatmins) that child could die before anybody realizes it...the penalty for something like that should be FAR worse then jail time

Doesn't matter the 'Why'. Fact is any normal thinker will understand that a child would be at risk.

It's kinda like speeding. We can speed a bit and it's not usually a big deal. Now we all know that doing it in a school zone is much worse.

A child is at risk with alot of drugs if you leave them sitting out, not just illegal ones that look like kiddie vitamins. You can't leave Valium laying around for kids to get their hands on, for example.
