Roll Bar options

I don't want a roll bar. I don't want to be kicked off the track either. I have a low 11 second car. Maybe a 10 second car if I learn to drive. Are there any bolt in bars that are somewhat removable for 95% time that the car is driven on the street.

Yes - you can call Tim at RPM roll bars.

I have one as well. They are an excellent rollbar and don't interfere with normal driving or comfort of the driver or front seat passenger, they do however negate the use of the back seat completely. They are advertised as removable because they are a bolt in product so technically they are correct, however it would be impractical to do so. In a coupe you need to remove the front and rear seats, the rear interior side panels and lift the carpet as everything is bolted in below the carpet. This is an excellent product but not something you just pop in and out for track days.

I have a fastlane bar. It's half the cost of the overpriced RPM piece.

I tried to call fastlane for like a week straight but never got anyone to answer the phone. That gave me the willies about giving them my money

When did you buy yours? I'm still looking and you are right the price is much better. The website even says it ships within 2 weeks I think.

RPM may seem a bit more but you get choices of steel or chromoly. Painted to match your camaro and Tim answers his phone and returns emails promptly.

They build them to order, I got mine a little over a year ago if I remember right. I painted mine VHT satin black, but if I was going to do it again, rustoleum makes an AWESOME black hammertone in a can now. Here are some fit pics, with both the stock seat and the kirkey race seat

Both are great looking cages. Once I actually get my times down to need one I will have to make the decision.

Great pics.
