IMHO: It's overspray but it's not factory - Chevy did not paint the engine in the car.

CAMARO 1979 z28
After 36 years old I had to use a little spray bomb. I work 2 full time jobs and have not had time to detail engine but it will be done.

I was only joking about the $3500. I just wanted to bump your thread and bring back fond memories when I had my 1979 Z28.

Really Nice car and a very nice color combo wish it was a 4sp with AC. In AZ AC is a must.

You should just register this car with Barrett-Jackson or Mecum auctions. Someone is bound to pay you some insane amount of money for the car.

Sweet car! GLWS!
I had a red 78 Z28 but almost traded for an 81 "Oakland Raiders" color schemed Z28. It was black with silver stripes and what I believe to be a rare silver interior. Anyway, your car brings back fond memories. My opinion is to ask around 20-22K for it and see where it goes.

I would never sell a car that I had owned and babied for almost 40 years.
You will regret it. If you have to sell it for family reasons, then make sure you sell it to someone that is not going to cut it up. That way you might have a chance to purchase it back when your life changes. A car is only original once. John

She has to go. First 25,000 gets her. If you want a rust free car this is the one for you. I want this car to go to someone that will take care of it.
