I know some of you guys are still waiting for your cars to be built with TPW of 12/2 and 12/16. Seems like Chevy is trying to get these cars out of Canada ASAP!! My 1LE was built and 4200 status shipped on the same day. Below is the response from the awesome chevy rep on Camaro 5.

(This may clear up some confusion:

It appears that a lot of action occurred in a small amount of time with your order . Your order, #RKKT3X, shows produced as of 12/6 and was made available to ship that same day. From there, your order went to 4200: Shipped again on that same day. 4200 is your most recent status update.

I went to my dealer this morning to change an option on mine and was told that GM wouldnt even accept any orders at the moment for 1LE's and ZL1's until February. So mine is just sitting in a folder on the GM's desk....waiting....

I'm thinking this is the case too. I remember you mentioning that when you called customer service....kinda freaked you out huh?? I actually sold my truck today so I'll be going car-less until I get the camaro.

Congrats! Mine was built the 3rd so hoping it ships soon! Still at the bayed stage... I'm not complaining though more time to save for a down payment!

Remember though that they have to be driven to the location where they are putting the hood wraps on, so that may be a source of some of the confusion you guys are seeing with the status on your orders. Hang in there the wait is well worth it!

I was in the same boat on Friday, I was told by customer service that the cars tpw was no longer 12/2 and was not going to be built and to call my dealership. As of a half hour ago I checked and it shows shipped enroute. Makes you wonder, anyway I am hoping it's on the way as I am only about eight hours from the plant here in NorthEast PA.

Mines in 4300 intermediate delivery I'm told it ships as soon as a quality control inspection is done!

Just got off the phone with Customer service, they said the car is waiting for a rail car and has not left Canada. Been built since friday... :(
