Here in N.J. if you want a convertible off the lot your going to pay $3,000 over sticker. They call it a market adjustment As for dealer cash I'm sure thats going in their pocket

I received a special offer directly from chevy for 1500 off msrp for the 2012 camaro, I actually got the email directly from them. I would suggest signing up tp chevys website and potentally asking about it via the online chat option.

Sorry, I did not mean to offend anyone by this post. My sincere apologies to the "GOOD" dealer folks out there.

I will go and sit in time out now...

Well in the central Ohio area there are a ton of 2ss still on lots, a few 1ss, and seems like lots of v6. Not sure why so many car dealerships order these optioned out 2ss. Hell most of them are close to 40k. The big camaro push has slowed down.

I mentioned this once before and several people got very angry for some reason. Autotrader is loaded, and I mean loaded with 2010 SS's that everyone and there brother thinks are going to get 30k for a used ss. Dealers think they are going to unload tons of 2011 2ss and 1ss. Something tells me people are overestimating the market for sport cars 2 years after they were released.

Again, not trying to start anything, I just always look at the market in case I ever need to sell mine. I got a wonderful deal on a trade and off sticker when I bought mine. Im a good 10k under what mines worth, but I fear that lots of people bought 2010's for sticker or worse and now dealers and used car people all trying for the same market means they both lose.

If this "dealer cash" of 1500 is true, 1500 off a 41k camaro is still not going to be enough to move all the 2011 2ss in Ohio area, not sure about rest of the country.
