Delayed Gratification
Santa's been busy gifting himself all season, staring longingly at the boxes biting his nails in anticipation... Now that January's here and everyone else (wife and kids) got their gifts, he can get busy on his sleigh!!!
Just wanted to give a shout out to thank some vendors for their helpful assistance and counsel over the past couple of months: Kyle at BMR Shane at Proven Wicked Doug at Factory Reproductions Mike at Whiteside Customs The folks at Phastek I also want to thank Ofer at Gen5diy for going beyond the call on an issue I had with my DRLs. He is an excellent business person. Now...onto some installs. Can't wait for the square set of Invos and spring!!!! Will post pics on the appropriate subforum at that time. |

They're Factory Reproduction Style 41 (ZL1 replicas) in satin black. There's a loooooong thread in the wheels forum on them so didn't want to jam more pics in this one. I ordered the 20X9 (ET27) to get a decently flush look but keep weight down. I really wanted a square set up to address oversteer issues and get a truer handling response. The ability to rotate tires doesn't hurt either. I'll say this much - the quality of packaging that both Doug at Factory Reproductions and Shane at Proven Wicked use is second to none. There are some damn fine vendors on our forum. |
